Me

I'm a young aspiring artist and entrepreneur trying to navigate the many worlds of the art industry while learning to heal from traumas. Art was and will always be a release from reality where I can let go without an apology. I create because I need it, its therapy. I hope my work is relatable to many who struggle with childhood trauma, depression, anxiety, and the many curveballs of life. My main focus is mixed media and the process of journaling my emotions on inanimate objects.

 

I'm currently attending Michigan State University receiving my BFA in Fine Arts with hopes of graduating Summer 2021. I also run a small art business, Aura Lee Gallery, which is Inspired by my late Grandmother Oralie, she was an undervalued artist who taught me expression, creativity, and patience. My business is a place where I focus in finding happiness and bringing that happiness and art to others in my community. I'm determined to be an entrepreneur, professional artist, and inspiration to my little sisters.
